Bayern Munich completed the domestic double and stayed on course for a treble after crushing Werder Bremen 4-0 in the German Cup final on Saturday. In-form Dutch winger Arjen Robben put the Bavarians ahead in the 35th minute when he converted a penalty after Per Mertesacker handled the ball in the area. Croatian striker Ivica Olic doubled their advantage six minutes after the restart with a close-range effort. Midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger added the third on 63 minutes and French winger Franck Ribery completed the rout seven minutes from time after breaking the offside trap. Bayern won their 15th German Cup title and completed the double for the eighth time in their history. They can also win the European Champions League if they beat Inter Milan in the May 22 final at Santiago Bernabeu. Italian giants Inter have a chance to claim the domestic double like Germany. They have already won the Italian Cup and will wrap up a fifth consecutive league title if they overcome Siena on Sunday.
