Ismaili's players went on strike Tuesday in protest over their outstanding payments. The Dervishes players took no part in Tuesday's training session and won't get back to normal till the coastal club pay them their money. On delving into the matter, FilGoal.com learnt that Ismaili's old guard came up with the idea of staging a strike. "We refuse to train because of our overdue payments," an Ismaili player, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told FilGoal.com. "Ismaili's veterans were the ones who made this decision and the rest followed in their footsteps. "The coaching staff members called on us to participate in training but no one listened. "Everyone is involved in this strike." Ismaili promised their men to pay their delayed wages on Tuesday but couldn't live up to their word. The angry players claim they haven't been paid their salaries for four months.
