Barcelona full-back Daniel Alves has dismissed Real Madrid's title credentials as he doesn't consider Los Blancos to be the leaders of the Primera Liga. Real, who were dumped out of the Champions League, are currently joint-top with Barca in the fiery two-horse Liga race, but the former have a better goal-difference. "Despite Madrid being top of the standings, to me they're not. It makes me angry because we have not yet played in the Bernabeu and it seems that they have already won," Alves told Ona FM. Jealous Alves, who helped Barca to be crowned European champions last term, believes that the Madridista envy his side following their early exit. "The final [of the Champions League] is in their stadium. It must hurt a lot and especially when Barcelona are still in the competition," the Brazilian added. "Real Madrid, in theory, should be with Barca as the only Spanish team remaining, but that is impossible. They want to see us eliminated. They are jealous." Real host Barca in the Spanish Clasico on April 11th at the Bernabeu.
