Egypt forward Mohamed Nagi 'Geddo' has been included in Ittihad's squad for Sunday's Egyptian Premier League game against Petrojet despite doubts surrounding his future. Geddo has been the subject of intense media speculation since Zamalek announced that he signed a deal with them before extending his Ittihad contract, which was due to expire at the end of the season. The 25-year-old, who hit headlines for all the right reasons when he finished as the Nations Cup top scorer with five goals in Egypt's triumphant campaign, admitted on Friday that he penned a contract with Zamalek before the tournament. His announcement could land him in trouble, given that he signed for two clubs at the same time but Ittihad coach Carlos Cabral ignored all the hype and said he would field him against second-placed Petrojet. "Geddo is in a terrific form, so he should play," the Brazilian tactician told FilGoal.com on Saturday. "His current form could help us overcome Petrojet tomorrow." Geddo, who showcased his goalscoring abilities in the Nations Cup despite not starting any game, scored four goals with Ittihad in the first half of the season. The Alexandria-based club, who have been consistent since the appointment of Cabral, lie ninth in the 16-team table with 20 points.
