Amr Zaki expressed his delight with Egypt's historic African Cup of Nations triumph as he looks forward to making his national team comeback. The Hull City striker, who was part of the Egypt squad in the 2006 and 2008 CAN finals, couldn't help the Pharaohs this time due to a hamstring injury. "I can't say how happy I am. Watching Egypt win from another country has a different taste. It makes me proud and the joy is doubled," Zaki told FilGoal.com. "All credit to my teammates especially veterans Ahmed Hassan, Essam Al-Hadari and Wael Gomaa, who proved they can play for years to come. "I really wished to be with them. But I am looking forward to returning in the near future." After making his Hull debut at the weekend, Zaki prepares to face Premiership leaders Chelsea at the KC Stadium on Tuesday.
