Zamalek's out-of-favor keeper Mohamed Abdul-Monsef says he has reached a final agreement with Gouna over an imminent move this winter. "I've worked out the details of the deal with Gouna coach Ismail Youssef," the towering goalie told FilGoal.com. "I haven't penned the contract yet because I prefer to leave by mutual consent, so I want Gouna and Zamalek to be on the same page." Abdul-Monsef has recently handed in a transfer request to Zamalek after he once again lost his regular starting berth. The 32-year-old joined Zamalek from Dina Farms in the summer of 1999 but was always rated as a back-up goalie. He played regularly on numerous occasions though due to first-choice keeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed's persistent injury problems. Al-Sayed, who seems to have finally shaken off his niggling complaints, produced some impressive displays this season to restore his place between the sticks. Disgruntled custodian Abdul-Monsef is also understood to be targeted by Petrojet, Harras Hodoud, ENPPI and Turkish outside Diyarbakirspor.
