Second-half substitute Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a precious winner to help ten-man Barcelona to a 1-0 victory over Real Madrid at Nou Camp in the Primera Liga on Sunday. Stubborn visitors Real produced a praiseworthy display and were in control till Ibrahimovic smashed a volley past Iker Casillas four minutes from the hour mark. Few minutes later, Barca midfielder Sergio Busquets was sent off for a second bookable offence, to cause his team to be outnumbered for about half an hour. But Real couldn't make use of their numerical advantage and the European champions maintained their slender lead to claim all three points. Having won el El Clasico, Barcelona restored leadership with 30 points. Los Merengues lie second on 28 points. Real superstar Cristiano Ronaldo made his comeback after a two-month layoff. He put in an impressive performance during the 20 minutes he played before he was substituted. The Portuguese ace could have fired Real ahead on 19 minutes when he was set up by Kaka, but his effort was blocked by Victor Valdes who outstretched his foot to keep a clean sheet. Barcelona were struggling to prevent with their opponents from converting their intensive attacks in the first half, till Ibrahimovic was sent into the battle. The Sweden marksman replaced Thierry Henry, and the substitution paid off in no time. Barca took the lead after Daniel Alves whipped in a crossed that was fiercely volleyed by Ibrahimovic into the net from point-blank range. Busquets was red carded when he deliberately handled the ball. Karim Benzema was sent in instead of Ronaldo in an attempt to bring the score level, but the Frenchman squandered a golden opportunity. Real had midfielder Lassana Diarra dismissed in the last minute of the game.
