Egypt number one Essam Al-Hadari still has a chance of playing in the World Cup, according to Ismaili goalkeeping coach Ahmed Al-Dahrawi. Al-Hadari, who will turn 37 in January, was devastated following Egypt's failure to reach the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. "Al-Hadari has excellent physical attributes and determination, which could help him stay on the pitch until 2014," Al-Dahrawi told FilGoal.com. "He was distraught after the recent defeat to Algeria because the World Cup was the only missing achievement in his glittering career. "But now he is back in training with the team." Several questions are raised concerning Al-Hadari's potential replacement in the Egypt goal, after years of exceptional success with the national team.
