Inter Milan moved seven points clear at the top of Serie A after two second-half goals from Diego Milito and Maicon gave them a 2-0 victory at third-bottom Livorno on Sunday. The Nerazzurri played the first half without Samuel Eto'o as coach Jose Mourinho opted to start him on the bench with one eye on the midweek Champions League clash against Dynamo Kiev. The Cameroonian striker was introduced in the second half to inject zeal after a disappointing performance in the first period. The substitution bore fruit as Inter pressed forward and managed to break the deadlock four minutes after the restart when Argentine striker Milito fired into the bottom corner from inside the area. Brazilian right-back Maicon wrapped up the win nine minutes from time with his weaker left foot. Title holders Inter have 28 points from 11 matches, seven ahead of second-placed Juventus, who lost 3-2 to Napoli on Saturday. Sampdoria, who are level on 21 points with Juventus, were held to a goalless draw by Bari. Watch the match's goals
