Ronaldinho resorted parity four minutes from the hour mark upon converting a penalty kick, before turning from scorer to provider. The Brazilian playmaker eluded three players on 67 minutes, before Alexandre Pato latched onto his through to feint past his marker and the goalie and poke home with aplomb. Ambrosini received his marching orders nine minutes from time for two bookable offences, but Leonardo's men managed to maintain their slender lead and claim all three points. Milan failed to register a win in their last three league games, and also lost 1-0 to FC Zurich in the UEFA Champions League. Now the Rossoneri are in eighth place with 12 points, while Roma lie 11th on 11 points.
