Fabio Cannavaro scored twice to help Italian champions Juventus come from a one-goal deficit and earn a 2-1 win over Empoli in the Serie A on Sunday. Cannavaro's goal cancelled out Sergio Almiron's opener in the first half before the Italian international secured the precious win in the 77th minute. The win maintained Juventus' position on the top of Serie A table with 56 points, eight points ahead of second-placed Inter Milan. Almiron needed only three minutes to grape a shocking lead for Empoli after he curled a powerful free kick into the back of the net. Cannavaro leveled the score in the 17th minute when he met a perfect cross with a diving header past Empoli keeper Gianluca Berti. The former Parma defender sealed the victory for the Italian giants in the 77th minute with another brilliant header into the back of the net. Elsewhere, Kaka bagged a brace to lead AC Milan to a convincing 3-0 victory over Siena. Kaka broke the deadlock in the 12th minute before Andriy Shevchenko doubled the lead in the 69th minute. Kaka completed the route and kept Milan's hopes of catching runaway leaders Juventus alive with an 84th minute effort. In other matches, Ascoli beat Lecce 2-0, Livorno held to a 1-1 draw with Treviso, Parma edged Chievo 2-1, Reggina defeated Sampdoria 2-1 and Roma thrashed Udinese 4-1.
