Ismailia – Ahmad Saied Cameroon were ousted from the U-20 World Cup in Egypt after losing 3-0 to Germany on Friday. The African side collected only three points from as many games and finished fourth in Group C. USA, with the same tally, snatched the third place due to goal difference, despite losing to Korea Republic 3-0 also in Suez. The third place gives USA the chance to qualify for the next round among the best four third-placed teams. The Americans will have to wait till the group stage is over on Saturday with last games in Groups E and F taking place in Alexandria and Port Said. If USA managed to advance, they might face Egypt, who finished on top of Group A. Group leaders Germany had no difficulties crushing the Lions in a game that witnessed controversial refereeing. Cameroon's Patrick Ekeng picked up two debatable yellow cards, leaving his team playing with 10 men for the entire second period. Germany took the lead in the 41st minute when Richard Sukuta-Pasu towered to nod a perfectly-weighed cross home. It is his second goal in the tournament. Semih Aydilek doubled the scoreline 12 minutes into the second-half before Lewis Holtby put the icing on the cake with a third goal in the 70th minute. Korea finished second in the group on four points following their impressive win over USA. Two first-half goals from Kim Young Gwon and Kim Bo Kyung in addition to a Koo Ja Cheol penalty in the second period gave Korea a comfortable win.
