Egypt defender Hani Saied is ready for the African Cup of Nations quarter-finals after recovering from a knee bruise. Saied sustained the injury in the 2-0 victory over Mozambique and missed the last group game against Benin. But the team doctors confirmed Saied's availability for Monday's game. Egypt are yet to know their opponents later on Thursday. Saied can play as sweeper or defending midfielder. Egypt have an empty injury list after Saied's recovery. Also, players who were hit by flu are believed to be totally healthy. The defending champions finished the preliminary round on top of Group C with nine points from three wins. The players will have a break on Thursday and will resume training on Friday.
