Bayern Munich roared back from a goal down to thrash Mohamed Zidan's Borussia Dortmund 5-1 away in the Bundesliga on Saturday. The Bavarians, who recovered from a slow start to the season, moved into four spot on eight points after claiming their second successive victory to ease pressure on coach Louis van Gaal. Dortmund lie 12th on five points from as many games. Zidan, who scored his first Bundesliga goal in the 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt in the last league game before the international break, was included in the starting line-up to partner Bulgarian Dimitar Rangelov upfront. He should have opened the scoring after seven minutes when he latched onto a through pass and rounded Bayern keeper Hans-Jorg Butt. However, he dithered on the ball and played it across the area instead of shooting goalwards to give Butt time to intercept the ball and clear the danger. Central defender Mats Hummels made amends when he gave Dortmund the lead after 11 minutes with a close-range header. Towering striker Mario Gomez leveled the score nine minutes before the break with another header although he appeared in an offside position. Bastian Schweinsteiger put Bayern ahead on 50 minutes, thanks to a powerful right-footed shot. French winger Franck Ribery, who came on as a second-half substitute, added the third five minutes past the hour mark when his curling free kick found its way into the top corner. Forward Thomas Muller struck twice late in the game to complete the rout. The match's goals
