Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg kept the Bundesliga title chase on fire after the Bavarians beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 and the latter overcame Borussia Dortmund with the same result. With two rounds to go, the two clubs remain joint leaders with 63 points each as Wolfsburg are ahead on goal difference. At the Allianz Arena, Italian international striker Luca Toni put Bayern ahead with a 47th minute strike. Jupp Heynckes' team wrapped up the home win courtesy of two more goals from Franck Ribery and Lukas Podolski. Wolfsburg found no difficulty in thrashing Borussia Dortmund at the Volkswagen Arena. Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko was the man of the match after scoring twice for Wolfsburg either side of Grafite's 24th goal of the season .

Also in the Bundesliga, Hertha Berlin kept their own title hopes alive by beating Cologne 2-1 away from home. Hertha scored twice within ten minutes through Cicero and Patrick Ebert before Moroccan hitman Adel Al-Chihi hit a late consolation for the home side. The German Old Lady are third in the table with 62 points.
