Italy skipper Fabio Cannavaro has recovered from injury on time to catch his country's Confederations Cup game against Egypt on Thursday. Sky Italia confirmed that the 35-year-old took full part in Italy's training on Tuesday and completed the whole session without any complains. The Juventus defender was forced to sit out Italy's 3-1 opening win against USA due to a calf strain. Fellow Juve man Nicola Legrottaglie deputised in Canna's place alongside Giorgio Chiellini at centre-back. Cannavaro, who lifted the World Cup with the Azzuri in 2006, is his country's second most capped player with 123 games.
