Bayern Munich are interested in acquiring the services of Stoke City shot-stopper Thomas Sorensen, according to German reports. The Danish custodian impressed in the Premier League last season, which reportedly enticed the Bavarians into lining up a summer deal for him. However, Sorensen assured that Louis van Gaal's team haven't officially approached him so far. "I have seen what has been in the papers, but have heard nothing personally," the 32-year-old told The Sentinel. The Capital side conceded 42 goals in the Bundesliga last term to finish in second place, with Michael Rensing and Hans-Joerg Butt taking turns between the sticks. Sorensen moved to minnows Stoke a year ago from Aston Villa, and made 35 Premier League starts throughout his debut season at Britannia Stadium.
