Shadi hits out at Jose
Published in FilGoal on 04 - 06 - 2009

Ahli skipper Shadi Mohamed said the bad treatment he received from coach Manuel Jose prompted his decision to leave the club.
"I couldn't bear his treatment any more. He attacked me on numerous occasions this season," Shadi told Modern Sport.
"Jose told me before that he could kick me out of the club. Those comments are unacceptable especially when they are directed to the team's captain.
"I remained silent for a long time, but now I feel I should make things clear to Ahli fans."
Ahli said earlier on Thursday that the central defender has been allowed to leave on a free transfer, upon his own request.
Portuguese coach Jose, who is renowned for his fiery temper, has also left the club to take over at Angola.
"Despite all that, I still respect Jose because he played a pivotal role in helping Ahli win many titles during the past five years," Shadi added.
The 32-year-old also sought to depart to have a new challenge.

"Jose told me before that he could kick me out of the club."
"I feel I have achieved everything with Ahli and it's time to move on with my career," he said.
Shadi, who ended ten years with Ahli, holds the club record of most titles won while wearing the captain's armband.
He helped the Red Devils win the Champions League four times, in addition to five Egyptian Premier League titles.
Old
On his next destination, Shadi declared that he is likely to make a move to a Gulf club, stressing that he still has the potential to deliver.
"I am not too old to find a club as some people might suggest and I am not willing to quit now," he added.
"I will make my decision soon, but I will most likely play in the Gulf."
