The decision, which was taken by assistant coach and acting football director Hossam Al-Badri, comes in an attempt to protect club players from any distraction. "I want my players to be totally focused on the remaining league games," Al-Badri told the club's website. "We've a big responsibility in our hands and we need to only think of our football." With three points less and one game in hand over leaders Ismaili, Ahli are currently fighting to defend their Egyptian Premier League title. While the Red Devils will face Tersana, Harras Hodoud and Gaish respectively, the Dervishes will play Telecom Egypt and Tersana in their final two games of the season.
