Zamalek frontline duo Junior Agogo and Gamal Hamza have once again skipped regular training for no apparent reason. The White Knights' official website announced that both players didn't bother themselves to give the technical staff any excuse for their recurring absence. According to Zamalek assistant coach Mahmoud Saad, Ghana hitman Agogo asked the club's board for permission to travel to England in order to visit his mother. The well-built striker was given the thumb up to set off, but he hasn't returned yet although he was supposed to arrive in Cairo a while back. On more than one occasion, Agogo, who moved to Zamalek from Nottingham Forest last summer on a three-season deal, sounded his disgruntlement with the club's policy and persistent wages delay.
Hamza The 29-year-old has been handed more than one sanction since he joined the Cairo outfit, and he once described the club's board as a 'nightmare'. Likewise, Hamza is not enjoying his life at Zamalek after seeing his loan move to Swedish side Vasalunds collapse. But the 27-year-old, who came through the club's youth ranks, is set to start his European adventure by next summer. Hamza got involved in a myriad of disputes this term with officials and teammates alike. Zamalek boss Michel Decastel is now depending on a strike partnership consists of Abdul-Halim Alli and Sherif Ashraf.
