Masri are close to reinstating their former head coach Bertalan Bicskei, who parted company with the Port Said side in 2003. Late in December, the coastal club sacked twins Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan, former manager and football director respectively, following the infamous post-match incidents at JSM Bejaia in Algeria. Consequently, Tarek Soliman has been appointed as interim coach, and now he's set to be demoted to assistant coach. "We decided to reappoint Bicskei, while Moahmed Eid and Mohamed Ramadan will be our new football directors," Masri chairman Ali Farag told FilGoal.com. "We have reached an agreement with the Hungarian coach, who's arriving in Port Said on Tuesday to pen his contract." Bicskei is set for his third bout with Masri, following two spells with the Egyptian league side in 1994 and 2003. Throughout his career, the 65-year-old tactician managed the Hungarian national team, in addition to local clubs Honved Budapest and MTK Budapest. He also had a spell at Saudi Arabia's Riyadh, but his most standout achievement was leading Hungary to the 1994 European Youth Championship in Moscow.
