Ismaili's Saied blames loss on lack of experience
Published in FilGoal on 04 - 01 - 2009

Ismaili defender Ibrahim Saied put his side's 1-0 home loss to Ahli on Saturday down to lack of experience.
The match was distinctly ill-tempered, as spectators kept on hurling chairs, fireworks and other missiles throughout the game.
However, the 30-year-old believes the chaos among the crowds didn't distract the home side at all.
"We need more experienced players to beef up the team," commented Saied after the game. "We cannot depend on the current squad for the rest of the season.
"That's the only reason behind the unpleasant loss, the spectators have nothing to do with it."
Arrogant
As he usually does every now and then, Saied released some outlandish statements.
The former Zamalek sweeper lashed out at Ahli striker Flavio Amado, accusing him of being unreasonably arrogant.
"I don't know why Flavio is adopting such a condescending attitude. Both sides' players set a good example of sportsmanship except for him," stated the Egypt international.
Saied said the language barrier could be the reason why the Angolan hitman came across as a taciturn person.

Flavio
"Maybe he cannot communicate well with Egyptians, He's an African footballer after all," he added.
Furthermore, Ismaili's Moatasem Salem also cited lack of experience as a reason behind the loss to the Red Devils.
"Ahli didn't outplay us, they just relied on their experience," the defender mentioned during his post-match comments.
In the same manner, Ismaili assistant coach Ahmed Al-Agouz revealed that the club are close to landing a good number of new faces to bolster the team.
Defensive Style
On the other hand, playmaker Abdullah Saied blamed the coastal side's defensive style in the second half for the loss.
"We exerted huge efforts to mark Ahli's key players, which abysmally reflected on our performance," he said.
"For this reason, I had to get back, and couldn't support the frontline."
Isamili still lie second in the Egyptian League table with 29 points, trailing Leaders Petrojet by one.
