Sion goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari admitted that Ismaili are interested in signing him in the January transfer window. "Ismaili opened talks with me over a possible move," the Egypt guardian told FilGoal.com on Saturday. "They also tabled an official bid but Sion are yet to respond because they are having their winter vacation." Al-Hadari refused to disclose whether he was interested in ending his European adventure and joining Ismaili. "Ismaili are a big club, but Sion will have the last word on my future," he added. Unsettled Al-Hadari completed his deal with Sion nearly a year ago without the consent of his then club Ahli, when he apparently invoked the infamous article 17 of FIFA regulations. The international keeper was heavily vilified after sealing the notorious move, which cost him his vast popularity among Ahli's fans. After failing to settle down, A-Hadari announced that he would like to move away from Sion, insinuating that joining the club was an unwise decision. The 35-year-old also said he wishes he could rejoin Ahli, but latter ignored his approach.
