Swiss side Sion gave Ismaili two days to accept their demands for releasing Essam Al-Hadari or risk failing to sign him in the January transfer window. Ismaili opened talks with Sion over signing the Egypt keeper after their regular guardian Mohamed Sobhi made a series of errors this season. They have already signed Iraqi keeper Nour Sabri, but are reluctant to register him as they await the potential arrival of Al-Hadari. But financial differences between Ismaili and Sion remain the stumbling block. "Both sides are yet to reach a satisfying agreement," Al-Hadari's agent told FilGoal.com. "Sion told Ismaili they had 48 hours to determine whether they will proceed with the deal or not." FilGoal.com understands that Sion put a € 1.5 million price tag on Al-Hadari but Ismaili offered just €462,000. The 36-year-old goalie joined Sion in February 2008 without the consent of his former club Ahli as he apparently invoked article 17 of the FIFA regulations. But he recently admitted that moving to Switzerland was a mistake and that he would welcome a sensational return to the Red Devils. But Ahli made it clear that they won't sign Al-Hadari, who incurred the wrath of their supporters following his infamous transfer.
