Kazma have decided to terminate Amr Samaka's contract after the Egyptian playmaker failed to prove his worth at the Kuwaiti side. "The board is trying to work out an agreement with Samaka that will see him leave the club," Kazma board member Gehad Al-Gharballi told local paper Al-Watan. "Samaka needs to change some aspects of his game. He has to be aware that talent isn't enough." The 25-year-old is often criticized for showing off his skills rather than being a team player. Samaka, who came through Tersana's youth ranks, failed to atone for a disastrous spell with Cairo giants Ahli. Seeking to rejuvenate his career after being banned for failing a doping test in November 2006, he joined Kazma. Samaka failed to establish himself as a regular starter at the four-time Kuwaiti champions. Tersana, who lie at the bottom of the 16-team Egyptian League table, are reported to have expressed an interested in signing him in January.
