Barcelona boss Josep Guardiola stated that his team's victory over Villarreal was extremely important to cement the Catalans' place at the summit of the Primera Liga. The Blaugrana clinched a 2-1 away victory on Sunday after overturning a 1-0 goal deficit, when Seydou Keita and Thierry Henry scored on 54 and 66 minutes respectively. "The team has got a massive result," Guardiola told Barcelona's official website "We've played a great game and we've also had a bit of luck. It's a big step forward." He was also upbeat over his team's splendid run, saying picking up all twelve points from the last four games was really rewarding. "Twelve points is a pretty good return," he commented. Barcelona now lie first with 41 points, ten ahead of second-placed Sevilla. All the same, the former Barca star believes the title is still far away. "It's a good lead, but there's still a long way to go," Guardiola added.
