Barcelona boss Josep Guardiola kept his feet on ground after the Blaugrana's thumping 5-0 victory over Deportivo on Saturday. Barca, who boast an astounding 59 goals in 19 Primera Liga matches so far, set a new record as they amassed 50 points halfway through the season. However, Guardiola implied that his side's current superiority would mean nothing if they failed to clinch the Liga title by the end of the season. "That record will only be remarkable if we end up as champions … there are 19 games to go, in other words 57 points," Guardiola said after the game at Nou Camp. "We aren't champions of anything yet and the important thing is to maintain this tone and dynamic." The former Spain midfielder seems to be focusing on the empty half of the glass as he hopes to see a more complete Barca team. "It was far from perfect, there are still things we aren't doing well. I got a good feeling, but there are always errors that need analyzing and correcting," added Guardiola. Barcelona are 12 points ahead of second-placed Sevilla, as they aim for their first trophy in three years.
