Inter Milan moved nine points clear at the top of the Serie A table after crushing Lazio 3-0 at the Olimpico on Saturday. Argentinean defender Walter Samuel needed two minutes to put the visitors in front, heading in Sulley Muntari's inch-perfect cross from the left. Just before the break, Lazio's Mobido Diakite diverted Maicon's cross into his own net to help Inter further extend the gap. Zlatan Ibrahimovic put the icing on the cake in the 55th minute when he towered to head Esteban Cambiasso's free-kick into the net, taking his tally to eight goals this season. However, Television replays suggested that the Swedish striker was in an offside position when he connected with Cambiasso's cross. Inter's sixth successive league win cements their position on top of the table with 36 points, nine ahead of Juventus and AC Milan.
