Zamalek coach Reiner Hollmann faces the prospect of being sacked if the team fail to end their four-match winless streak against Harras Hodoud on Monday. The Cairo giants saw their hopes of competing for the Egyptian League title diminish after a string of poor results. Despite the club's miserable spell, Zamalek board kept faith with German tactician Hollmann, who was appointed in the summer following the resignation of Ruud Krol. "Some members said Hollmann should be sacked right now, while others said he should be granted more time to prove his worth," the source, who refused to be named, said. "But we agreed that if Zamalek do not defeat Hodoud, Hollmann will no longer be the coach."
