Pachuca striker Christian Gimenez admitted on Thursday that his side know little about Club World Cup opponents Ahli. The Mexican club, who won the CONCACAF Champions Cup, face African champions Ahli in the World Cup opener on December 13th. "We don't know much about the Egyptian side, but we will do out best to prepare well for the tournament," Gimenez was quoted as saying by Mexican paper El Reloj (The Clock). "We want to make amends for our disappointing World Cup participation last year." Pachuca took part in the 2007 edition but suffered an early exit after a 1-0 defeat to Tunisian side Etoile Sahel. "We aim to approach the competition in a good shape in order to change our image." In the 2006 Club World Cup, Cairo giants Ahli defeated another Mexican team in Club America to clinch the bronze medal.
