Manchseter United have failed in their bid to lure highly-rated Norwegian striker Mohamed 'Moa' Abdellaoue from Valerenga. Abdellaoue, a Moroccan descendant born in Norway, was tipped to join the European champions on trial, but Valerenga rejected the option. "Together with Moa and Moa's agent, we have decided to decline Manchester United's wish for Moa to join on a week-long try out," Valerenga director Pal Breen told the club's official site. "Moa has proven himself as one of the team's best player this season and he is on his way to establishing himself in the national side. "There is also interest from other clubs." The 23-year-old, dubbed as the new Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, grabbed the attention after scoring an impressive double in Valerenga's Norway Cup final triumph earlier this month.
