Zamalek board have issued a statement on the club's official website congratulating Ahli for winning the CAF Champions League trophy. The Red Devils secured their sixth African Champions League title after a 2-2 draw with Coton Sport of Cameroon in the final's second leg on Sunday, and The Whites' board were the first to salute their Cairo neighbors for the achievement. Meanwhile, Zamalek football director Ahmed Refaat said that the club will be holding a training camp in Ismailia starting on Wednesday, as part of the team's preparations for the upcoming league derby against Ahli in November 22nd. Refaat confirmed that there are no plans of pardoning any of the suspended players as the club aim to imply a strict disciplinary policy. Mohamed Aboul-Ella, Gamal Hamza and Osama Hassan were all ordered to train separately from the first team after the goalless draw against Arab Contractors. Tunisian defender Wissem Abdi and Brazilian full-back Ricardo were also put on the club's transfer list after the disappointing showing against Contractors. Refaat also added that Amr Al-Safti will be available to play against Ahli, denying that the defender's caution against Petrojet on Friday was his second.
