Barcelona thrashed Almeria 5-0 in a one sided game at the Nou Camp in the Spanish league game played on Saturday. Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o netted a hat-trick for the home side (5, 21, and 24) and two goals from Thierry Henry (13) and Daniel Alves (37) sealed Barca's big win. Almeria had to play for 60 minutes with ten men after Alvaro Negredo was shown his marching orders in the 30th minute. Eto'o scored his first of the night on 5 minute after taking advantage of a lose ball in the Almeria box with a right-footed volley. Eight minutes later, French forward Thierry Henry added Barca's second with a close-range tap in after the Almeria defense failed to clear Andres Iniesta's low cross. The home side were on target again through a lovely passing move between Iniesta, Xavi and Eto'o that left the latter clear with the empty net. Eto'o's clever back heel from after connecting with Lionel Messi right side cross. The big win was wrapped up courtesy of a Dani Alves 35-yard free kick that deceived the Almeria keeper. The win moves Barcelona top of the league with 19 points from 8 games.
