Samuel Eto'o scored four first-half goals as Barcelona stayed top of the Primera Liga by hammering Valladolid 6-0 at the Nou Camp on Saturday. The Cameroon striker took his tally to 13 league goals to top the scorers' chart, three ahead of Valencia's David Villa. Icelandic striker Eidur Gudjohnsen and Thierry Henry were also on the scoresheet as Barca secured an emphatic victory for the third successive match. The Catalan giants thrashed Almeria 5-0 and outclassed Malaga 4-1 before facing Valladolid. They are in charge of the league table with 25 points, two clear of arch-rivals Real Madrid, who claimed a thrilling 4-3 victory over Malaga earlier in the day. Eto'o Brilliance The 27-year-old Eto'o opened the scoring after 12 minutes when he latched onto Daniel Alves' deft through pass before skipping past a defender and slotting home with aplomb. He doubled the lead on the half-hour mark when he volleyed home on the rebound after Henry's initial effort was parried by the keeper into his path. Eto'o added the third in the 42nd minute after being set-up by a Lionel Messi pass before putting the result beyond doubt two minutes later when he gathered a loose ball to fire home from inside the area. Gudjohnsen added a fifth in the 71st minute with a delicate chip before France striker Henry completed the rout seven minutes from time.
