Egypt striker Amr Zaki said that he was fit to take part in Wigan's Premiership clash against Liverpool on Saturday. The combative frontman had been suffering from a calf injury that ruled him out of Egypt's 4-0 victory over Djibouti in Sunday's World Cup qualifier. But he shook off the problem in time to feature in the anticipated encounter against Liverpool, who are yet to taste defeat this term. “I came through the morning training session unscathed,” Zaki told his personal website on Friday. “I've fully recovered from the injury. I'm ready to participate in the Liverpool game.” Zaki will be seeking to take his tally to six goals in the Premiership after making an impressive start to life in the elite competition. The 25-year-old is the joint leading scorer with five league goals, along with Liverpool's Fernando Torres and Portsmouth striker Jermain Defoe.
