Enyimba midfielder Eric Frimpong refused to rule out his team's chances of reaching the African Champions League final after being held to a goalless draw by Ahli. Despite having a tough task on their hands ahead of the semi final return leg in Cairo on October 19th, Frimpong is still confident Enyimba can cause an upset. "If Ahli could come to Aba and get a draw, nothing would stop us from going there to pull a draw as well," Frimpong was quoted by the The Sun News on Wednesday. "After all we still didn't lose at home." The Ghanaian played his first game for Enyimba on Wednesday and crowned his performance for The Elephants by scoring on his debut. "I was very happy. It's the dream of every player to score in his debut." It is well worth noting that Eric is the brother of Joetex Frimpong who was an Enyimba star before joining Sfaxien of Tunisia.
