Saied abandons Ismaili training, threatens to quit
Published in FilGoal on 03 - 10 - 2008

Ibrahim Saied abandoned Ismaili's training on Friday night in protest of being dropped out of the squad facing Petrojet on Saturday.
The international defender was told by assistant coach Khaled Al-Qammash that he wouldn't be in the 18-man squad for the game as tempers flared on the training ground.
Saied decided not to complete the session and told FilGoal.com that he will probably leave the club in January.
"I don't know why he dropped me," Saied said. "I started against Arab Contractors and I expected to feature against Petrojet."
Despite signing manager Ricardo Ferreira, Al-Qammash will be in charge against Petrojet as the Brazilian coach still getting to know the players.
"Ferreira might think I am not playing regularly after this decision, which might limit my chances in the near future under him," Saied said.
The former Ahli and Zamalek star joined Ismaili this summer on a three-year contract after a spell in the Turkish League.
He said he wanted to play regular football to rejoin the Egyptian national team in the last stage of the World Cup qualifiers.
But Saied believes that remaining on the sidelines damages his hopes of being called up by Egypt manager Hassan Shehata.
"I haven't come from Turkey to sit on the bench. If I didn't play regularly, I will leave in January," he said.
