Enyimba thrash Hilal to reach group top spot

Nigerian Champions Enyimba moved one step closer to reaching CAF Champions League semi-final following their 4-1 home win over Hilal of Sudan on Monday.
On his return from suspension, Steve Worgu scored his 13th goal of the competition for the Enyimba. Strikes from John Owoeri, Eze Otorogu and Emeka Ajueme sealed the big win for the hosts.
Mohanad Al-Taher scored Hilal's only goal of the game but the Sudanese champions had to play with one man down for 50 minutes following the dismissal of Said Masawi.
The win lifts Enyimba to top spot in the Champions League quarter final group B with nine points from five games.
Hilal;s have minimal chances of reaching the semis after the defeat left them bottom of group with five points and one game to go.
