Real Madrid are lining up Benfica winger Angel Di Maria as a replacement for Robinho, Spanish daily AS reported on Wednesday. Brazilian Robinho has been heavily linked with a move to English club Chelsea. Although Real have stated more than once that Robinho would stay at Santiago Bernabeu, reports suggest that they might eventually offload the 24-year-old. The Spanish champions are eyeing Benfica's Di Maria, who helped Argentina reach the Beijing Olympic Games final. The 20-year-old's contract with the Portuguese outfit runs out in 2012. He has a 30-million euros release clause. According to AS, Real have tabled an initial 15-million euros bid to sign Di Maria, but Benfica deemed their offer insufficient.
