Ahli's new hero Ahmed Hassan will be fit to feature in the team's Champions League clash against ASEC Mimosas despite suffering a groin muscle pain. “Hassan is just exhausted following our tiring trip to Abidjan,” Ahli doctor Ehab Ali told the club's official website late on Thursday. “The groin pain will not prevent him from taking part in our match against ASEC. He will train normally with his teammates.” The Egyptian champions arrived in Abidjan on Thursday morning after a 24-hour flight. Ahli, who got off their group stage campaign to a winning start after defeating arch-rivals Zamalek, will face Ivorian giants ASEC in Group A action on Saturday. Egypt skipper Hassan, who joined Ahli from Anderlecht in the close season, heavily impressed in his first two matches with the Egyptian champions. He scored in Ahli's two successive wins over Zamalek in the space of seven days and was named man of the match in both encounters.
