Amr Zaki is now available to play for Wigan Athletic after the Premier League side received the striker's International Transfer Certificate (ITC) from Zamalek. The player's agent, Nader Shawky, has recently said that Wigan officials were astonished by Zamalek's reluctance to send the ITC. Wigan have been anticipating Zaki's ITC from Zamalek since last Thursday after paying the Cairo club ₤1.2M to sign Zaki on a season-long loan. The matter has been finally settled following the Egyptian FA interference, according to Zaki's manager Mohamed Saied. "I would like to thank Egyptian FA president Samir Zaher for urging Zamalek to quickly send Zaki's ITC to Wigan," Saied told FilGoal.com. Zaki, 25, is now in line to make his debut in Wigan's friendly game against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday. He will be hoping to be ready for the Latics' Premier League opener against West Ham United on August 16th.
