Wigan Athletic are discontented by Zamalek's stalling over Amr Zaki's International Transfer License (ITC), according to the Egypt striker's agent. Wigan have been anticipating Zaki's ITC from Zamalek since last Thursday, following the Premiership side's fulfillment to the transfer fee. However, Zamalek are yet to complete their part of the deal, much to the disarray of the Latics officials. "Wigan officials are astonished that Zamalek have not sent the ITC until now, especially that the ₤1.2M transfer fee was paid in full last week," agent Nader Shawki told FilGoal.com from England. "I was asked about it several times and unfortunately I couldn't find the answer. "They told me that this is something that happens for the first time in the history of the club! "I have also spoken to manager Steve Bruce and he insists that Zaki will not play in friendlies unless he is officially registered." Zaki was forced to sit out Wigan's 6-0 friendly win over Barnsley on Tuesday, as they prepare to take on Sheffield Wednesday next Saturday. Zaki has finally completed his protracted transfer to Wigan last week, in a deal described by the English club's official site as the one of the longest ever.
