Liverpool's new-signing Robbie Keane said he finally joined the club he has been supporting through out his life. "It is a dream come true," Keane told Liverpool's official website. "I have been a massive fan all my life and to be here is overwhelming." The 28-year-old striker left Tottenham for Rafael Benitez side for a reported fee of £20.3 million. Keane said that he opted for Liverpool in search for trophies he lacked at White Hart Lane. "Liverpool came in for me and it was something I always dreamed about as a kid," Keane said. "I am at the stage now where I want to kick on a bit and win a lot of trophies. I believe that Liverpool can do that with the squad of players we have." Keane believes he can link up well with Fernando Torres, who scored 24 league goals with Liverpool in his first season. "I see myself as a second striker. I can play off the shoulder, link things up and play in the hole," he said. "You are always judged on scoring goals as a striker and I have always scored a lot of goals. Hopefully I can continue that here at Liverpool."
