New Poldi to fit in Bayern's game, says Hitzfeld

Ex-Bayern Munich coach Ottmar Hitzfeld said he is impressed by Lukas Podolski's performance on the left flank with Germany.
“This switch of position would perfectly suit Bayern Munich,” Hitzfeld told Bild on Saturday.
Podolski has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena as he lost his place in Bayern's front line to new comers Luca Toni and Miroslav Klose.
The 23-year old striker has excelled on the left flank scoring three goals for the Mannschaft in the EURO.
“Poldi on the left flank and Ribery on the right flank. Klinsmann should be happy with that,” added Hitzfeld.
Meanwhile new coach Jurgen Klinsmann was full of praise for Podolski and said he is happy that he is at Bayern Munich.
