Hamburg SV sport director Dietmar Beiersdorfer revealed that he has warned Mohamed Zidan following his criticism to former coach Huub Stevens. The Egypt striker issued a severe attack on the Dutchman, accusing him of 'bad treatment and disrespect'. Even though Stevens hit back instantly at Zidan, the 25-year-old still has issues to solve inside the Bundesliga club. "I told him in no uncertain terms that he had made a major mistake which will have consequences for him. He finally has to learn from his mistakes," Beiersdorfer told Kicker. Beiersdorfer, who signed Zidan from Mainz in 2007, said earlier that the HSV striker's attitude does not comply with the club's style. Apart from his club problems, Zidan is also banned by Egypt for apparently faking injury to skip a World Cup qualifier.
