Zamalek insisted on Tuesday that Wigan target Amr Zaki has no right to demand terminating his contract with the Cairo giants. The prolific striker handed in an official request to the Egyptian FA to have his Zamalek deal annulled. He cited Zamalek's failure to pay him his dues since November last year as a reason for his request. However, Zamalek stressed that Zaki's demand is not justified. "Zaki received all his dues. Zamalek owe him nothing," the club's board member Ahmed Hafez told FilGoal.com. "He has just been deducted some money due to sanctions imposed on him by Zamalek board." Premiership Dream Zaki apparently wants to depart Zamalek due to his strained relationship with the club's chairman Mamdouh Abbas. Earlier this year, Abbas promised Zaki he would allow him to move abroad following the Egyptian Cup final. However, Abbas is reluctant to accept Wigan's offer to sign Zaki on a season-long loan. But Zaki, who scored Zamalek's winner against his former club ENPPI in the Egyptian Cup final, is determined to fulfill his dream of playing in England. Hafez is wondering why the 25-year-old hitman wants to annul his contract with Zamalek. "We did not take a final decision over allowing Zaki to depart, so we don't know why he is complaining. Zamalek board is still holding talks with Wigan."
