Frank Rijkaard believes that Barcelona deserved more than one point after being held to a scoreless draw by Getafe on Sunday night. "We were better and we deserved to win. We had 69% ball possession. It's a pity. The team fought really hard. It wasn't our best game but we tried to score during the whole 90 minutes. Unfortunately the ball just wouldn't go in,” the Dutchman told the club's website. Barcelona created plenty of chances in front of goal and they also hit the woodwork three times but they couldn't put the ball in the back of the net. “When you score a first goal the game changes and you feel more secure, but that didn't happen today. Consequently in the second half I thought the players were getting a bit nervy about winning the game and making members and fans happy,” added Rijkaard. The Catalan giants are in the second place of the Spanish table with 7 points behind leaders Real Madrid. The Barca coach has called for unity and asked the fans to get behind the players in this critical period. Rijkaard's side will try to consolate their supporters when they'll host Schalke on Wednesday in the Champions League quarter finals second leg. The Blaugrana won the first leg in Gelsenkirchen 1-0.
