Ismaili are considering a $1.2 million offer from Spartak Moscow for the services of defender Hani Saied, chairman Ibrahim Ashour said on Wednesday. "We are going to contact Ismaili's technical staff to find out whether they are willing to release Saied," Ashour told Modern TV. "I personally believe the offer is suitable for the club, but the majority of the board members must accept the bid." Ismaili have recently rejected a $1 million offer from French side Saint-Etienne to sign the in-form defender. Saied was unhappy not to seal a move to Ligue1 and is hoping Ismaili would accept the latest offer from Spartak. "I want to join Spartak after being denied the chance to move to Saint-Etienne," he said. "Ismaili have lost any hopes of competing for the league title and were knocked out of the Egyptian Cup, so my presence will not make any difference." If Ismaili accept Spartak's bid, Saied will immediately link up with his new teammates as the Russian League starts later this month. Saied was instrumental in Egypt's African Cup of Nations triumph after putting in a solid display at the back.
