Werder Bremen midfielder Torsten Frings will be back to action sooner than expected and could play within three weeks. "I have been training normally during the past couple of days and I didn't feel any pains," Frings told Bild. The 31-year old midfielder had a miserable season as he underwent three knee surgeries. "I am improving slowly. I will give support to my teammates when they'll face Dortmund on Saturday and I should feature in the games within three weeks," added the German international. Frings hopes to get back to action and play in the Euro 2008 with the Mannschaft.
