The Scotsman was glad to see the Red Devils make a swift recovery from last week's shocking home defeat to Manchester City in the league. "We showed great tenacity and the passing was terrific," he said after the game. "It was a really fantastic performance - the players looked great. "They were so disappointed with themselves after losing to Manchester City on a really important day but they have made amends for that."
Wenger eyeing Milan game No Options On the other hand, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger bemoaned missing several key players due to injury as he looks forward to midweek's Champions League clash with AC Milan. "I did not have many options. The players who were on the bench were all recommended not to play medically," the Frenchman told Sky Sports. "I still thought we had a good enough team to have a chance but United were better than us. "It is important to pick up and prepare for a massive game. My team is upset but they are strong mentally and will recover for Wednesday."
